There are spectacular views of Grøvdalen valley and the area around the Romsdalsfjord from Husnebba. Take a big enough packed lunch so that you can take your time and enjoy the view!
Follow the Fv 64 road from Åndalsnes towards Molde. Turn right after 5 km and drive to the centre of Hen in Isfjorden. From Isfjorden, you drive up the valley and follow the signs to the Grøvdalen valley. After 1.5 km, turn up to the left and follow the signs to Måsvassbu cabin. Then follow the toll road to Kavliheian. Turn off the toll road in a sharp bend. Park at the car park at the end of the toll road.
The walk starts on a tractor road. There is a clear path after the tractor road through a drystone wall and on through the drystone wall at the other end. Follow the path past a few cabins and on through another drystone wall. Some ruins are situated in the middle of this enclosed area, and there is a visitor’s book there.
After Kavlisetra, the walk continues on a marked trail. Cross the river and then walk up to the left of the ascent. The last part of the walk is in gentle terrain to the cabin. The cabin is open and you can shelter there in poor weather.
